Well known in the podcasting world, Matthew’s hit “Drive Away” ranks high on the list of most played songs on the Podsafe Music Network. He just released his fourth full length solo album, Goodbye Planet Earth, which is concept in nature and an extremely awesome listen from beginning to finish!
I’m not only his marketing intern but I’m also a fan at heart. Each song tells a story and I relate to each story. His music inspires me every morning when I wake to do better, to do more, to make my effort on something that matters. Because his music has touched me so often, I continue to strive to find a way to really help him achieve success on a bigger scale.
The Backstory
While in Second Life, Rich Desoto invited me to hear a new musician playing at the Hummingbird Cafe. Matthew Ebel’s voice and his brilliant fingers inspired me. As a fan and project lead, I partnered with Christopher Penn to release an authorized fan bootleg of some of his live shows called Virtual Hot Wings ( http://www.virtualhotwings.com ).
After that success which directly funneled 100% of the proceeds to Matthew, I turned my attention to http://www.matthewebel.net, a fan site to help the fans of Matthew to not only learn more about him, but form a street team to spread the word of Matthew. A HUGE thanks to Matthew for the site design and installation!
