Two Reasons why I’m invisi-pixie…

12 more days until Podcamp Boston 4! & Work – Hire me? It’s important to me to do a great job for my clients and to make this Podcamp Boston rock for all of you this year.  So I have a good excuse for not blogging. We’re definitely smaller this PCB on the 4th go around but I think the economy is getting to everyone.  The discussion rather than presentation format has me excited.  Not to mention, C.C. Chapman and Ron Ploof are heading up the What’s Next discussion.  There are some great discussion leaders over at http://podcampboston.org/schedule-preview One of the best things about running the conference is the people that come together into the community to[.....]

SBBuzz: Helping Small Biz Get Answers

Disclosure: I’m co-founder of sbbuzz with Pamela O’Hara and Michelle Riggen-Ransom of BatchBlue Software. A few months ago, small business owner Whitney (@wald12) came to Michelle and Pam for advice on how to get started with technology and social media for her business. Every week, more small business owners join in the conversation to find out the answer to their questions. If you are a small business owner[.....]

Good People Day

There’s this pretty cool guy GaryVee who came up with an idea to spend a day talking about good people instead of the next rumor to hit the mill. I’ve been pretty thankful to a few people who have rocked my world, but that list keeps growing! So listen, I know I’ll probably leave someone out, but I gotta put a few people out here. Neil Bearse – Keeper of good moods. He puts a good amount of time in with independent musicians, either with his ideas or crazy kick ass video editing skillz. He randomly takes a moment to brighten my day with a crazy thought or a new song. Christina Greene – Gentle[.....]

Adobe Photoshop Express

I heard about Adobe Photoshop Express and thought okay wow, great, something for the casual user to use and edit photos online quickly. Right? A friend made me very aware of this wee tidbit under the Submitted Materials section of the TOS: By posting or otherwise submitting Images, you grant to Adobe and all other users of this Site permission to use your Images in connection with their use permitted by these Terms of Use (including making prints and gift items incorporating such Images), including an unrestricted, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and fully paid up license under all Intellectual Property Rights to copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, modify, translate, transmit and[.....]
